7 decades after dropping out to serve in WW II, Jim Wilkins receives diploma

On January 7th, 1943, Jim Wilkins played hooky. Instead of attending classes at Leo High school, he enlisted.

On Friday, November 6th, 2015, Jim finally received his High School Diploma.  Following are links to the ABC news video and an article from the Daily Southtown.

The Alumni Association was represented by Former President  Rich Furlong, Jim’s Pastor, James Finno, also a Leo Alumnus, and many other friends, family and Leo Students.

The Leo Alumni Association congrats Jim on his Diploma, and thanks him for his service.  Just another example of The Leo  motto in the community….
