The Alumni turnout was great and the game was fun!
Four years ago we started having “Alumni Night” basketball games at which we are spectators not participants. What started out as 75 alumni in our our spacious gym has grown and has been a very positive item in our very strong Alumni Association.
Because Brother Rice was not on our schedule this year and the St Laurence game was away, our night this year was January 31st, a home game against Gordon Tech.
We had a brand new Leo bus which left from Father Perez Knights of Columbus Hall, 3422 W. 111th St., at 6:15 for the 7:00 p.m. game. The bus took us back to Perez after the game for free pizza and a cash bar. As the evening wore on the old stories got a little longer.
