Class of 1965 – 50th Reunion

We were the thirty-sixth annual graduating class of Leo High School on Tuesday, June 1, 1965.  On the morning of graduation, we attended Mass in the chapel of Leo along with our parents and we were the guests of the Parent Clubs for breakfast.

At 7:30 P.M., in Calumet High School’s auditorium, Leo’s former Chaplin, Rev. William Murphy, gave the convocation address of the evening.  Pastor Msgr. P.J. Molloy, Principal Br. P.L. O’Hare and Valedictorian Mykolas Drunga also addressed the graduates and guests.  258 diplomas and 90 scholarship/awards were bestowed to a class that started with 321 freshmen.  That evening marked our departure from the halls of Leo High School.

Hopefully June 2, 1965 didn’t end the many great acquaintances we made at Leo.  If so, the annual banquet on Friday April 24, 2015, will give us our last chance to renew old friendships and exchange old remembrances.  Maybe that old acquaintance will add another “time-out” in our last quarter in the game of life?

Our 50th Jubilee anniversary is drawing near.  To be a successful, we need you to attend.  Your participation will guarantee a wonderful 50th reunion!
