The Alumni Association was recently notified of the passing of Donald H. Frenette on December 4, 2022 at the age of 83. Donald graduated from Leo High School in 1957. 
Don came to Leo from St. Rita Grammar School. During his time at Leo, Donald participated in the band, the basketball team, the cross country team, was a class officer, and he was also on the honor roll.
After graduating from Leo High School he enrolled at the University (College) of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is during these years that Don met his soul mate and eventual wife Caroline J. Sullivan. Don and Carol lived in St. Paul for over 60 years and raised their two children there. Professionally, Donald worked at 3M for over 30 years, eventually serving as the Executive Director of Public Relations and Government Affairs before retiring in 1997. In general, Don loved spending time at his Wisconsin cabin, and reading a good book; he also loved taking refuge in his garden, in which he cultivated.
