We had a “signing day” in the gym for about 30 seniors who announced their college choices. The others are waiting to hear on financial aid before deciding. Channel 5 (Christian Farr) was there. Did a nice job, said it was good to do a story that reflected positively on young Black men rather than the usual crime stuff. He was pretty sure it would run on the early-evening newscasts but wouldn’t know about later. Should be on the NBC-5 Chicago web site.
