The Alumni Association was recently notified of the passing of Kenneth Thomas Kostal on January 30, 2021 at the age of 78
Kenneth graduated from Leo High School in 1960. Subsequently he used his talents to obtain a B.S. in Architecture and Structural Engineering from The University of Illinois.
Kenneth would go on to begin a long and prolific career in the Power Industry for Sargent and Lundy, which enabled a very interesting and fulfilling life, traveling the world. He eventually ended his tenure as owner and vice president of Sargent and Lundy in 2002.
Aside from these impressive pursuits Kenneth also was also a board member for the La Grange Hospital, Greater La Grange YMCA, Helping Hand Center, and Interfaith Community Partners, as well as a volunteer and member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church
The entire Alumni Association offer its prayers and condolences to Kenneth’s family and Kenneth’s close friends and associates at this time.
