The Leo High School Mother’s Club hosted a casino night on Friday May 19th

The Leo High School Mother’s Club hosted a casino night on Friday May 19th at the Red Palm Restaurant in Evergreen Park.
The event was a great success and  was well attended by Leo mothers, (of course) faculty members, friends, and a nice contingent of Leo Alumni.  The MC for the evening was Shaka “Big Chips” Rawls, and he was unstoppable in his promotion of the raffles, the silent auction, the school and in providing news of interest to Leo supporters and fans.  Raffle and auction items included Leo promotional items, wine, sports collectibles and other items.  The sports collectibles included Michael Jordan and Walter Payton jerseys, and a jersey signed by Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Shaka and the Mothers Club members did their best to see that the auction items brought respectable prices, consistent their values and consistent the efforts made by the donors to obtain the items for auction.  They also did their best to see that everyone had a fun evening.
On behalf of the School we thank the workers, donors and other individuals who made the event so much fun, and we have attached a photo gallery to give you a view of what the event was like.
